what rhetorical(or literary..whichever) device is being used?

courage the cowardly dog.

I think it's an oxymoron, but it might just be ironic too. What do you think?

    An oxymoron is calling something what it is not. Such as a little giant, or your example. Ironic would be an action of courage from the cowardly dog.
