Milk allergy that causes bleeding ankles?

I have a life-long allergy to milk. This is an allergy not lactose intolerance mind you. When I was very young it caused my ankles to bleed - kind of like sweating blood. As long as I avoided milk and any dairy products I was fine. However, as I grew older if I ate any dairy product I would get cold sores. Today I have some tolerance of dairy products and can generally eat cheese, yougurt, etc. in smaller amounts then most people and am fine. If I eat too much though, I will absolutely always get a cold sore. It takes a few days and goes away so long as I avoid more dairy products.

In the 1980s, no doctor was able to determine what was going on. Does anyone know of this today?

I do not feel that you have milk allergy or milk intolerance. Consider seeing a doctor and getting a correct diagnosis. If you were allergic to milk you would have an elevated heart rate, shortness of breath, wheeziness, hives and generalized itch. Bleeding ankles are not due to milk allergy. I know that you think it is the milk allergy.
