How does LSU advance in the BCS rankings after loss to Alabama?

Oregon and Iowa lost. But, to stay in the top 10 when you were 9 to start is an insult to anyone with an IQ. Teams drop 5 slots or more with a loss this late.

The sec central office would have to have total control over rankings and outcomes of all games instead of just who wins in their conference. If that was true, so much for any respect they, the BCS, or officiating crews, might have had in anyones mind.

It's about time LSU got some of that favorite treatment just who is behind LSU, USC and they lost by 27 points to Oregon and 3 to Washington. Don't call it crap unless USC gets ranked above LSU, Washington wasn't the #1 team Oregon wasn't the #3 team. The only stumbling block in LSU's way is Arkansas, that's right col Arkansas. LSU still will have a good season. IF Notre Dame had won they would be #10.

Because it wouldn't make sense to NOT have 3 SEC teams in the top 10. Even when the SEC isn't dominant, such as this year, the media still portrays them as dominant. LSU has yet to beat a good team. They scored 6 points in the first 58 minutes against a BAD Georgia defense. They should of lost to Miss. State and they had trouble with Washington. LSU is a #20-25 team at best, and I think they will show that when they score 13 points in their bowl game.

Can't answer that one... doesn't matter though...even if LSU wins out, you can't have 3 teams from the same conference in BCS bowl games. Florida and Bama will be in BCS games, even if the SEC champ doesn't play for the NC...one will get the Sugar and the other an at large. I don't see either beating the Horns if they get the chance to play them in the NC game though.

The question is how is usc ahead of orgeon ducks who they have the LOST TO BY 27 and have the same record. Oh yeah a 27 point fluke, the only sport where flukes count. THERE IS NOTHING Impressive about beating arizona state.

The rankings this year have been off the charts bad. The worst ever! I have always been against a playoff, but I'm starting to come around because of the crap I've seen this year.

They're LSU. What else can you really say? This is the same team that went from unranked after last season to the top 10 to start this season. I don't know who they're paying off but they're paying off somebody.

The polls are a joke. I don't ever want to hear LSU fans complain about getting overlooked again after this season.

i do no longer probably care. regularly that is because of the fact of Nick Saban and he's declared to the two communities. even if if, i'm no longer able to no longer root for somebody so i visit pass with Alabama because of the fact they lost the 1st interest and that i like pink.

The computer they use for the BCS must not be a Mac.

They can lose every game until they move into 3rd behind Florida and Alabama. Money talks.
