Why won't Obama condemn in strong words the atrocities Hasan committed?

Lawyers will argue that unlawful command influence if Obama does this. After all this guy was under Obama's command when he gunned down all those people.

To Bush's credit, he would have had the cohones to call this what it is.

Update:

I can see Obama saying Hasan Acted Stupidily. Carelessly. Didnt use good judgement. He has said that about the Taliban that killed that woman.

It was TERRORISM, plain and simple, the fact the guy was in uniform attacking fellow soldiers, makes it TREASON. I'm not blaming his religion but it should have been obvious he was an extremist and should have been dealt with, even if by assignment to the South Pole or something, the government failed the people big time, and the careful tap dancing around the muslim issue just makes it more of an issue. Anyone in the military who feels that way should be excused, rather than jeopardize their commrades. The priorities in his speech after talking about native americans, shout outs and everything displayed by the President just is incredibly amateur, thoughtless, or both. You don't have to tell people if this was some race supremacist or way out baptist or something it wouldn't become a prefix to the suspect's name, the absence of any such prefix confirms what everyone thinks. To say Hasan was "acting" stupidly, carelessly or in poor judgement, does NOT condemn the ideology (I mean extremism) which inspired Hasan or the act Hasan committed. We have a President that needs to be watched instead of listened to, because you can't believe what his teleprompter says.

It is clearly a terrorist sympathizer and radical Islamist condemning and killing innocent people. Most of these Islamic muslims have only been in our country for 40 years or less and for them and their religion killing Islamic muslims is wrong regardless of how many Americans their countrymen killed.

They are loyal to the Koran only.

I agree with you about President Bush. The man had a great insight into the Islamic world. Evil is evil regardless of where it comes from.

This is TOTALLY wrong. Obama, his Administration, Congress and the news media have "decided" they want to downplay this incident. They want to discourage the TRUTH, that this was nothing less than an Islamic terrorist act. Another item their keeping secret, is WHERE all this mans money was going. He lived in a second hand apartment, drove used car, yet his salary was about $ 88,000. 00 with tremendous percs. Obama is honoring his pledge years ago, to "stand by" the Muslim community. Gee, wonder WHY ?

Obama believes the money of George Soros and the Democrat Senate and House will save him from any thing. Obama knows the truth but says what he is told to say by Soros, a European that does not like America and is trying to destroy the US dollar.

We shall find out around 1:30 today when Obama speaks at the memorial service. While CNN is covering it -

I bet he doesn't say a word about the radical islamic jihad ties to Al Qaeda.

He could at least say that Hasan "Acted Stupidly",but I guess he saves that kind of harsh language for Cops who investigate reported Home Break-Ins.

What will strong condemnation do for the victims? They will be no less deceased or injured. Obama is his own man. Right wing zealots such and Hannity, Beck and Rush cannot dictate policies to this courageous man. Do yo thang Barry. You da man wit da fuzzy nuts.

Why don't the right wingers write a speech that he can vomit for them so that they will finally be happy. Pick the exact words. Of course, they'd still complain, but at least it would give them something to do so that they feel they are participating.
