I personally don't believe we're bad just because Malkin is gone. We're also missing Letang, Gonchar, Talbot, Kennedy and Orpik (Who i think will back next game). It's a lot of guys that we need and it's clearly affecting us.

We're down to 1 defender from last year's cup team (Eaton).
Lovejoy just got recalled, so it looks like Orpik is down for a while.
Malkin, Talbot, Gonchar, Letang, Kennedy, and now Orpik are down.
You can't put the entire team on Sid's back and expect great things.

better be back soon so the pens fans no longer have excuses when they lose. i'm getting tired of reading how the injuries have cost this team so many games. boohoo.
