Sidney Crosby has a stalker.

This guy stands outside every practice waiting for Sidney to come drive out of the arena and sign something of his. He has pictures that I don't even think Sidney has! It's crazy - and Crosby signs for him every time! The guy swears he doesn't sell of the stuff either.. Not sure if i believe that.

But yeah.. I stood outside and got Talbot (EEEEEK! Not to sound like a total puck bunny but I'm really excited about getting his autograph. He was going to drive past the group of us, saw me holding up his jersey frowning at him and he called me over so he could sign it for me), Guerin, Godard, Letang, Fleury and Crosby.

Question: Do you know of any other team who has a person stand outside and wait for the autograph of a certain player during every practice?

I finally got around to buying a jersey!

So spending money on a jersey and not a new camera is a big thing for me :)

My thoughts - the winter classic would probably be the most interesting thing PNC Park will probably ever see. BUUUUT, I don't think Pittsburgh should play in another winter classic.. I think other teams deserve to play in it.

I also thought Pittsburgh was really trying to host the All-Stars game. Does anybody have any information on that? Also, what are your thoughts on Pittsburgh and the Winter Classic?

see, i wasn't really 'arguing'... it didn't get to the point of arguing lol.

i made a status on facebook about how upset i was when i came home from the pens game last night and found out that the pens had gotten rid of caputi.

i was distraught and this guy ends up commenting it saying how much we need to trade "ganchar" for a better winger for crosby.

i disagreed and he goes into this rampage about how much money "ganchar" is being paid and that it's not worth it and how "gerin" is way too old.

so when you're disagreeing/arguing with somebody....

Do you:

a) ignore them

b) argue with them

c) try to change their mind

d) talk to them until you find yourself getting angry

e) none of the above.

and do you have any funny stories about being in a hockey argument? i'd love to hear.

granted this probably was after his loss... but if i was a huge ovie fan, randomly saw him wherever they were, and i decided to pull out my camera (which i'm a photographer, so i probably would) and he thought it'd be okay to shove my camera down in a fit of anger.... well... i'd be really mad.

Does anybody miss Michel Therrien?

I hated the fact that he was fired at first but Disco Dan grew on me and MIchel is now a thing of the past. I do miss certain things about him though... Like when he would say the word "soff" =P

I'm not sure if any of you on here know that I'm going to college for photography. I'm hopefully gonna get a job photographing NHL games once i graduate... *crosses fingers* lol But anyways: For my one photography class I have to pick a theme and get 7 pictures prepared. My theme is The Different Aspects of Hockey.

So I went to the hockey rinks a few miles from me to get pictures of different teams playing. I got some awesome pictures of the teams scoring, celebrating, cheering on their team... But the one picture i got was of a team member getting hurt.

The kid (who had to have been between 12-16) flew into the boards really hard after getting hit and it looked pretty bad... He started crying about how he couldn't feel his leg and all that while he was being put onto a stretcher. Then these older guys come up next to me and they start saying "Is he crying? Jesus! get off the ice, baby.. Quit crying." It really irked me for the simple fact that they weren't there to see the hit and he IS just a kid...

[The boy ended up being fine. They thought it was something with his tailbone but it wasn't, luckily.]

My question is: Does it bother you when people start saying rude things about a player (NHL or not) when they didn't see what fully happened. Can you give an example of when this happened?

Kunitz is officially out for 2 weeks with a lower body injury.

Malkin is coming back tonight though.

I just want the team back! :(

QUESTION: With any injuries on your team, who do you wish would be pulled up from your minor league team to play in the NHL?

Sooo, Penguin fans are going out on the streets and making large signs that say "lets go pens" to mock the protesters in the city Pittsburgh. It's really funny when you're watching the news seeing all these protesters and then BAM there's a guy in a pens jersey carrying a large fake stanley cup down the street.

Question that has NOTHING to do with G20: I've been making a lot of different recipes and I was wondering - if you could cook any team in the NHL something to eat, what would you cook them?

I still have a 2007 Penguin calender hanging up from a Pens/Canes game I went to... I was flipping the pages and saw that it had a picture of Ryan Malone in it. It made me miss him a lot. :( lol

Actual question: Who is somebody that has left your team, that you really miss.

Yesterday i went downtown to watch the Pens practice. I had gone to Group C practice which had: Kunitz, Guerin, Crosby, Thiessen, Bizznasty, KcKee, Goligoski, Curry, Caputi and i forget who else.

Crosby ended up giving this little boy 3 pucks and me none, which made me angry cause he clearly saw me sitting there. But I won't hold it against him =P

After practice i went to walk out of the igloo and walking down the sidewalk i saw somebody familiar looking. MAX TALBOT! he was signing autographs. and it caught me off guard, since he isn't playing for quite a while i didn't think he was gonna be there. so i scream "Max Talbot?! i think i just peed myself!" and EVERYBODY turns around and laughs at me. I was quite embarrassed hahaha - but i love max talbot, what can i say?!

Question: what is something embarrassing that you've done at a hockey game?

Soo, on September 14, i'm going to the art institute for a visit. and i thought after that i would catch a practice game for the pens training camp since the school is around the arena.

my question - I was wondering if anybody knew what players were in each of the 3 groups. I couldn't find it anywhere, but i didn't do extreme research, either. not that it matters who is in each group - i'm just curious as to who i would catch practicing when i'd go.

Also, i'm going to the Pens VS. Blue Jackets game on 15th :) first game i had to pay for the tickets myself, and then i found out my dads friend would have given me 2 tickets he had for free... oh well! haha

BQ: have you ever bought tickets to a hockey game and then realized you could have bummed free tickets off of a friend who wasn't going to the game?

I'm going to Arizona tomorrow for a week. I'm super excited! I've been there once for 2 weeks and it's so different than Pennsylvania, plus it's gorgeous where my aunt lives :)
