how mad would you be if ovie did this to you?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KDQbTOTc3M&feature...
granted this probably was after his loss... but if i was a huge ovie fan, randomly saw him wherever they were, and i decided to pull out my camera (which i'm a photographer, so i probably would) and he thought it'd be okay to shove my camera down in a fit of anger.... well... i'd be really mad.
anyways... how many games do you think you'll be going to before the playoffs begin?
Junior - a team that isn't as good as him? this was at the olympics, everybody on that team was just as good. and i highly doubt that was PRESS. that was most likely a fan. and to push a fans camera down is disrespectful, maybe the person behind the camera was feeling paint like him, too.
TexHabs - I understand what you're saying but he gunned over to the camera. it's not like the person ran up into his face, ya know?
Desert Dogs - How am i late? i asked a completely different question than that person. Personally, i would suck it up and be nice. I would be absolutely crushed if that happened to me by somebody i'm a huge fan of. In all seriousness, yes it's your career and probably you're biggest passion in life - but it's JUST a game. you have plenty of other chances to prove yourself. ya know?
my opinion: filming/taking pictures is fine.
getting up in the hockey players face, not fine.
pushing a camera that isn't in your face away, totally not fine and disrespectful.

I would be upset, but you can't blame him... he's a superstar with a team that isn't as good as him, it's a tough loss for him.
ALTHOUGH, if you are a superstar, you need to learn how to deal with press. Pushing someone's camera down was not an acceptable way of doing things.
If he did it too me, I would be rather fusterated.

Total lack of respect by the photographer. Understandable act of anger by Ovechkin. Both were wrong in my opinion.
I won't be going to any games before the play offs unless I win the lottery. I spent all my extra cash on Bon Jovi and U2 tickets this year. I will be in front of the TV, though!

Well, you have to take into consideration that they had just gotten CRUSHED by Canada, so he must have been pretty upset. But if i was a huge ovie fan, then I would find some other person to be my hero. I mean, I can understand that he was angry, but he's got to show some respect!

you're about 3 day late.

ovechkin has said in an interview that he cant go anywhere without being filmed and that he hates it. this was obviously one time he really didnt want to get filmed. i love ov but this was a little out of line. its always a bummer when you meet a star and they're not nice to you. ovechkin usually seems like a very nice person but he's very passionate about his country and was probbly as upset as he's ever been.
who would want a camera in their face after playing the worst game of their career, in the biggest game of their career?
