Hannity's recent "aplogy" for using deceptive video editing...?

Hannity recently "apologized" for using deceptive video editing - when Jon Stewart called him on it:

That being said, will Hannity issue an apology for his other deceptive uses of editing, like the one below?

Update:

Let me add my own apology for the silly typo in the question. Alas, my fingers fail me!

    accidentally went ot video archives

accidentally picked video from exact same location

accidentally spliced only the portion showing the crowds

accidentally spliced this back into current video at just the right spot so it looked like it was all shot on the same day.

Lots of accidents at Fox or Hannity is a BOLD FACED LIAR.

For the hobbyist - the best I have ever used is Magix Video Deluxe. Simple, easy to use, very straighforward interface. Cannot handle huge files so I cut my videos into smaller files. Adds an irritating leader and trailer to your file so you have to fiddle about with the camera controls when recording it back to cut it off. Not difficult but annoying. Ulead, Pinnacle, other hobbyist programmes - I can hardly tell the difference and don't expect you will be able to either. They are good at what they do, if a bit pricey. Windows Movie Maker is rubbish. Don't even think about it. It's worthless. If you are going to move up the ladder into "prosumer" editing packages there are only two to consider - Avid DV or Final Cut Pro. In terms of difficulty of use and the level of results you will get there is nothing between them. If you have a Windows PC go for Avid, if you have a Mac go for FCP. Really, it's that simple. You can get either programme second hand for £2-£300. Never, ever buy pirate copies - they have very careful safeguards built in and the blue screen of death awaits. I'm not joking. Unless you are a professional dv editor forget anything more complex and expensive; they have features you won't use, operate at a screen resolution you don't need (and have to pay for) and cannot be used by a hobbysit or semi-professional unless you attend expensive and time consuming traning.

Don't you people UNDERSTAND?? IT WAS NOT a genuine apology! He said it was an accident... really?.... I'm sorry but the man even SAID that over 20,000 people attended the rally... when that was indeed incredibly false... so he was obviously trying to manipulate facts. I highly doubt those words accidently came out of his mouth.

So to all you people saying that he is man enough to apologize, just think about it for a minute... that's all i ask. Think of it from a showbiz point of view... if he admits he did it on purpose... fox is obliged to get rid of him for credibility sakes. Just think for a minute... all his viewers will stop watching instantly... even hardcore republicans. This was his only option.

They are an amazing bunch of LIARs. This was not an accident. Apologies that come after exposing something with a clear, and immoral purpose such as this count for ZERO. It was clearly not an innocent mistake, but rather a devious one. FOX News, and all it's marxist, Nazi, Kenyan B.S. has no credibility on anything. It's the freaking Al Jazeera of the Western hemisphere.

    HAHAHA I LOVE THIS!!

No, Fox edited this video to only show the facts.

Obama never said that. He hates his people! He is a terrorist! He's out to get us!! NOOOOO!!!!!

That was no apology, by the way. He lied again. He said it was an accident. How is it an accident to deliberately splice two different videos together to mislead viewers? Yet, his viewers still defend him. I bet they all laugh about how silly their viewers are to believe everything they say and soak it up like a sponge. Obviously they have no respect for your intelligence. (Or lack thereof.)

Sorry, I shouldn't have said that. But it is frustrating to see people only listen to one side of the story! I am fine with you watching FOX. But you should also watch one of the other networks like CNN or MSNBC and then somewhere in the middle you will find the truth. Just sayin'.

Source(s): I used to watch FOX a lot. I didn't need anyone to point these things out for me, I noticed for myself and quit watching. :D

Like Hannity is the only one editing video? There have been thousands of instances where the liberals do the same thing and even worse, flat out lie. At least Hannity was man enought to apologize.

Guess because Obama is providing you Libs with so absolutely "little' to cheer or defend him on, Fox becomes a primary issue in your lives.

There is not ONE other news organization, where the Programs are VIDEOTAPED EVERYDAY and reviewed carefully, for ANY misstatement or error made by the Host........especially Beck.

Wish you "people" were a little more concerned about your messiahs attempt to violate the First Amendment Freedom of Speech, as much as you do a stations "perspective analysis" hosts.

Maybe you "people" can get the great Obama to finally make brown up decision about Afghanistan instead of his adolescent "gee, I don't know" embarrassing delay.

Hannity won't even admit he did it on purpose. He said:

"[Jon Stewart] was correct, we screwed up - we aired some video of a rally in September, along with a video from the actual event. It was an inadvertent mistake, but a mistake nonetheless."

"inadvertent"?? How exactly. See the first answer for an analysis of why it was not inadvertent

Hannity is a LIAR. Of course, anyone with even half a brain already knew that.

I hope we NEVER lose the services of the likes of Hannity and Limbaugh. They do the Conservatives so much harm that reasonable people up and down the land connect their hatred and bigotry with the Republicans... all that does is help the Democrats.

Inane question. Two can play these games, too: will Obama likewise apologize for LYING BEFORE CONGRESS when He stated Obamacare would "not cover federal funding for abortion" or "illegal immigrants"? I'm guessing NOT since the "apology" would be tantamount to Obama admitting He is a "LIAR" when, in Hannity's example, he would be admitting to a "mistake"...

Liberals are like a bunch of buzzards waiting on anything they pounce on. It is a good thing when someone admits a mistake in case you don't know that. Oh, that's right, Liberals never admit a mistake, they just lie or make excuses about it. I know, I know, I'm a racist.
