Why is everyone afraid to use the "T" word regarding the Fort Hood shooter?
Nidal Malik Hasan has been identified as a "shooting suspect," an "alleged shooter," and most frequently an "Army psychiatrist;" Senator McCain is the only prominent person I've heard suggest that he's a TERRORIST. Yet the facts strongly point to the Fort Hood massacre as the first successful terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11/01.
Why do you think, in spite of all we are learning about Hasan's past statements and his communications with radical supporters of Islamic terrorism, not to mention his cry of "Allahu Akbar!" before opening fire, that the "T" word is being left out of the discussion almost entirely?

Many, many people are afraid to admit that Islam is the cause of much of the violence and hatred in this world today.
Political correctness is nothing more than appeasing groups of dangerous people.

I'm not afraid to use the 'T' word, but a terrorist has certain connotations when applied to Muslims or Islam. Tim McVeigh was also a terrorist, but when people think of him...they think of another type of terrorism.
As an American citizen, Hasan has the right to a trial...and I think it's totally unfair that he be tried by the media before all facts are known.

for the reason that became into fellow Muslim, they could not positioned the words "Islamic" and "terrorists" at the same time, Holder became into asked numerous situations and he refused to place the two words at the same time, yet they have no hardship blaming American Christians on the the best decision, i basically won't be able to bear in recommendations if MSNBC began blaming Palin and the Tea occasion for the shootings, before Loughnrer pulled the set off or after--even though it became into rapid and looked properly rehearsed by no ability the fewer````````````````````````````````````...

The problem here is that there is no universally accepted definition for ''terrorism'', or what it constitutes. If you define it as, 'acts of violence against civilians and/or unarmed combatants', then it is impossible not to include many of the acts that the US and its allies routinely engage in. The US does not check to see if people are armed or not, when looking for people deemed 'terrorists', the orders are to shoot on sight. Also, in drone attacks, which have thus far killed more civilians than fighters. Israel committed many well documented acts of terrorism in the recent gaza attack, yet the 'T' word and all this hype seems only to be applied and used when an islamic name or group does it. It is the religion that nidal malik hasan belongs to that is driving this very discussion.

This man served in the US army for over 20 years,so I would not call him a terrorist. He must have been a good soldier to have been promoted 3 or 4 times. Just what caused him to commit this terrible crime may or may not come out in his trial. Who knows.? Perhaps the thought of having to fight against his fellow Muslims just drove him over the top. There are hundreds or even thousands of Muslims serving in the US military and many may also have similar thoughts. This is a problem that faces all military whether US or from other countries that enlist Muslim personnel and lesson should, no must be learned from this and changes made. There are other places these men could be sent that would not mean killing their own fellow Muslims. Food for thought.

Because we seem to think that we can change things by renaming them. For example, you cant say "welfare" anymore. You have to say "entitlements" as if the recipients are somehow entitled to the handout they get from the government. You arent supposed to say "projects" as in Housing Projects" you have to say "Housing communities" cause it sounds more pleasant. You cant say "illegal alien" because you know, of course, that no human being is ever illegal. You have to call these invading bloodsuckers "undocumented workers" or some other such crap. Nobody wants to be a victim of terrorism, so if we don't use the "T" word maybe we can dupe ourselves into thinking we're safer than we really are.
"There's no terrorism here... it was just a tragedy..... thats what it was a tragedy.... Now lets go see who gets voted off of Dancing with the Stars."

At first they wouldn't even say he was a muslim, so it comes as little surprise that they wont add terrorist to it. Under socialist rule you dare not say a word where these people are concerned, for fear of being branded a racist. If that makes telling the truth a racist slur, then so be it.

Same thing with Dylann Roof and Ivan Lopez, why are people afraid to call them terrorists?

In view of President HUSSEIN Obama's muslim roots and muslim-friendly attitude, it becomes politically incorrect to equate terrorism with Islam. Mr Obama in person discarded the religious motive of the killer by saying that no faith should warrant his actions. In any event, terrorism or not, by shouting "God is great" before his action, Major Hasan clearly tied his action to the Jihad, which calls for killing non-muslims as doing God's work as online Jihadists will confirm by thumbing down my answer:
Surah 4.-95. ... Allah has preferred in grades those who strive hard and fight with their wealth and their lives above those who sit (at home).
Surah 9.-123. O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil).

You not talking about terrorist are you. I know I'm not afraid to say it. They you are speaking of are just plain cowards. And yes I would say that to their face. He is a terrorist. And should be dealt with in that manner. What a jerk. I am amazed how America can let so many people they know nothing about into our country. Send them all back to their countries.
