I don't think that it necessarily makes you shorter, but if you drink it when you are young it can stunt your growth. It can't do anything to your height once you are an adult and done growing. Just don't drink it when you are still growing.

no it does not make you shorter, however, i heard that coffee is a very intense drink, just like alochol not as worse however. i drink coffee alot of times, and i dont feel a thing. Coffee is what i drink, when I study, or do homework late in the night rofl....

That is an old wives tale. There is nothing wrong with coffee to prevent a child from drinking it. My son is ADHA and bipolar and a cup of black coffee with no sugar works well to help him relax.
