In politics, anything over 50% is an overwhelming majority. Bush felt he had a mandate from the American people and he certainly never won by what anyone not in politics would consider an overwhelming majority.

When you force people to buy into a service or product(health insurance) through fear of fines or imprisonment it is fascism surely even liberals are aware of that. Not to mention that it is also corporate welfare.

HMO's was and is a government program that was instituted in 1973 they where to bring down the cost of health insurance and offer better medical services and look what it has done to the health care industry since it was implemented in 1973
