Well for starters, it states God created all animals right then. One part has him creating humans and then the rest of the animals and then in another chapter the animals and then humans.

Man was made from dirt, and woman from the rib of the man. Evolution does not support this. Evolution proves that modern man as Adam and Eve are portrayed as did not exist in the beginning. It also proves that woman is not made from a man's rib. Evolution and the literal Genesis do not coexist. Modern man has only existed quite recently in geological time. The dirt and rib story is quite humorous, especially when people believe in it. Nearly as humorous as a virgin giving birth, and the dead rising, etc... Science shows that is not what happened. Fossils and DNA are the real evidence. The beliefs in deities are for those that do not understand science and logic and need a 2000 year old belief system to use as a crutch for life.

Those that say Genesis is just a fictional story that God wanted to teach a lesson, I say the whole bible is a fictional story.
