Do I need an E-Test done if.......?

Ok, I've got a car to sell, and I had to have it e-tested recently (less than a year ago) as part of the renewal (it has to be done every 6 years in Ontario). My question is this: Do I need to get an e-test done specifically for the sale of the vehicle, or will my recent e-test be sufficient?

Only definite answers please. Sources and references are appreciated.

According to the Ontario Drive Clean web site:

A Drive Clean pass is required for an ownership transfer for

vehicles with a model year older than the current calendar

year to help ensure that consumers do not unwittingly purchase

a used vehicle with emissions problems.

It may be used for registration renewal for one year from its

date of issue. It must be valid on the date of the transaction

    for an ownership transfer.

Best of luck. I hope this helps.

http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dandv/vehicle/use... doesn't specifically answer your question, but it contains some good information.

http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/ doesn't seem to address the question.

That seems to leave only this:
