Is it a coincidence that kids born in a chemically saturated toxic world have much higher levels of illnesses?

The children of baby boomers ― the first to be raised in a truly "toxified world" ― have higher rates of birth defects, asthma, cancer, autism and a frightening range of other neurological illnesses from ADHD to mental retardation, and other serious chronic illnesses compared to previous generations. Coincidence? What can we do about it.

It's Mother Nature. What we call "organic" today is very simply an attempt to rid ourselves of added chemicals and pesticides. Chemicals, like any medicine, create side-effects and can cause illness or brain dysfunction, just like nicotine or excess alcohol does. Our bodies are evolved from the nature of the soil where our food and water comes from, and whether we choose natural foods or processed garbage food. Look at various cultures round the world and you will see the startling differences.

It is definitely not coincidence my friend.

But are all these illnesses real? In 1997, drug company lobbyists pressured the US Congress to allow advertising psychotropic drugs on American TV. That opend door to advertising which soared from $595 million/year in 1996 to $4.7 billion/year now - an increase of almost 700%.

Drug companies today spend $22 billion/year marketing to doctors to increase prescriptions.
