Computer restores everyday?

I recently tried to fix my parents PC for them and ran into a problem. I did a clean install of windows XP but now the system restores itself everyday. All the programs they install are removed every night. Ive done this many times and never had this problem. Any1 know what i can do to fix this? Is there a setting somewhere thats causing this that I am over looking? Thx in advance for any help.

First of all you need to look through your current system restore settings. You may also disable system restore as well:

Steps to turn off System Restore:

    1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.

    2. In the System Properties dialog box, click the System Restore tab.

    3. Click to select the Turn off System Restore check box. Or, click to select the Turn off System 4. Restore on all drives check box.

    4. Click OK.

    5. Click Yes to confirm that you want to turn off System Restore.

After a few moments, the System Properties dialog box closes.
