Over the years a lot of people have hated Versus hockey coverage, but I think theyve made some big strides over the last couple years. I acutally like watching games on this network now. I absolutely love the fact the brought JR in for the intermission reports, I love hearing what that guy has to say. How about the rest of you? Do you think theyve improved a lot?

I recently tried to fix my parents PC for them and ran into a problem. I did a clean install of windows XP but now the system restores itself everyday. All the programs they install are removed every night. Ive done this many times and never had this problem. Any1 know what i can do to fix this? Is there a setting somewhere thats causing this that I am over looking? Thx in advance for any help.

From what Ive read, it seems Balsillie is only interested in the Coyotes if he can have them moved to Hamilton THIS season. I dont even see how that's a possibility. Even if he wins the bankruptcy case to purchase the team, wouldn't he still have to go through another court procedure in Canada to solidify the move? I would assume the Leafs and the NHL would use the Canadian courts to try to stop the move, thus slowing down the process and leaving Balsillie with no time to relocate. Can any1 clarify this for me?

Unless he single handily loses the series for the Pens, I cant see anyone else winning. Even if the Wings win the cup, I still see Malkin getting MVP. Theres really not one person for the Wings that stands out for it (Franzen? Ozzy? Lidstrom?). What do you think?

C. Should the refs never allow teams to just play and instead call everything by the book? They are just giving the losing team a reason to whine, even though they let as many penalties go for BOTH sides (Im sure a lot of Wing fans will agree with this until they lose).

They killed the penalty. We lost Kronwall for a game, they might have lost Havlat for longer (i think Havlat might have had his soul knocked out of his body too lol). Do I agree with the call? No, but its done so lets not complain.

Im trying to figure out to change which screen the mouse is on while using dual displays. When I run a program such as Windows Media Center and its in full screen it wont let me control the content on the other monitor. Anyone got any advice that doesnt involve leaving full screen mode? Im using Vista and a eGeforce 8600 GT.

I have to give a 15 minute presentation about HDTV for my communication electronics course but dont know where to start. Does anyone know a good place to get info or have any ideas for a basic outline on topics to cover or anything like that? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There are some games like NHL 09 that work great when I first start my computer up, but start to get really choppy the longer my PC is on. Lowering the display settings in the game doesnt help. I know its not a heat issue as well. Any suggestions?

I stopped downloading for a while and now all the programs I used to use either dont have many sources or dont work at all. Torrent programs dont work properly on my PC either. Any good suggestions?

How does that work? I figured since they went undrafted and signed as free agents that they would be UFAs. When would these guys become UFAs?

How do you think this will play out? Will Leino put up decent numbers? Can he win himself a permanent roster spot? If so, who gets scratched to make room after Franzen returns?

Im pretty excited to see him play in the NHL. I saw him in a few training camp and preseason games and he looked pretty good. I honestly dont think he will stay with the team after Franzen returns, even if he puts up decent numbers. Detroits offense is doing well right now but they are struggling on D, which isnt Leinos best attribute (he also isnt the greatest skater). Regardless, I think he is an NHL calibre player and Im looking forward to seeing him play in an NHL game that actually matters.

I think I already know the answers to most of these, but I'm hoping I'm wrong. I have three 1G sticks and one open slot. My mother board supports up to 8G. I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor. My system is an Acer Aspire M3100-UD5200A (all stock). I'm running 32 bit Vista. Now, onto the questions.

1. I thought since my processor was an AMD Athlon 64 that I would be able to upgrade to the 64 bit Vista. I was checking around and was told to look under my "Environmental Variables" to see my processor architecture. It says x86. Does that mean I cant upgrade to the 64 bit Vista, or am I misinterpreting something?

2. Am I correct that 32 bit Vista will only recognize between 3 - 3.5 gigs of RAM?

3. How do I check the speed of my RAM?

4. I had my computer scanned at www.crucial.com and it says my RAM has to be installed in pairs. That doesnt make sense to me though since it came with 3 sticks in it. Can someone explain this to me?

5. If my first two questions are correct, is there any better/cheaper way of upgrading my RAM to the max 8 gigs without having to buy a new processor and upgrading to 64 bit Vista?

I remember reading in one of my A+ Certification books (obviously I didnt learn much from them) that there are some situations where all your RAM sticks have to be the same size. For example, if I have a 1G stick in 1 slot, the rest have to be 1G as well. Im pretty sure thats for older systems, but i wanted to make sure before I went out and bought RAM. My computer uses DDR II SDRAM. If you need more info, my system is a Acer Aspire M3100-UD5200A. Thanks for any help

What do you think? If you had topick sides, would you go with Burke or Lowe? Do you disagree with anything Lowe said? Any other opinions?

I know, Hossa question have been all over this board since he signed, but most of it has been cheerleading. Im wondering what are some downsides you could see from this. Do you think another GM might take advantage of this and sign Filppula to an offer sheet? Will this make negotiations with Zetterberg harder next year? I dont mean from a cap issue, but they offered Hossa, someone who isnt as good as Zetterberg, the same amount of money as Lidstrom. Will Z want a larger contract because of this?

BTW, a lot of people are giving all the credit to Holland for this signing. Yes, he created a great team that guys want to play for, but this deal was all because of Hossa. Holland didnt think the Wings had a chance. The 1 year deal was the obvious choice for Holland, and he really did the right thing by saying he wont pay Hossa more than Lidstrom.
