Can we please get over it?
They killed the penalty. We lost Kronwall for a game, they might have lost Havlat for longer (i think Havlat might have had his soul knocked out of his body too lol). Do I agree with the call? No, but its done so lets not complain.
And from what ive seen the other calls were justified so lets not say the refs are out to get Detroit.
subhuman - plays like that arent subject to review...the refs couldnt have reviewed it even if they wanted to.
Palin - Im sure youve watched enough hockey to be used to it though. I was screaming at my TV as much as anyone else when it happened, but it happens. The refs arent perfect...never have been and never will be, but it all evens out in the end.

".but he is playing it up to be much worse than it is"
Are you a medical doctor? Have you done an examination on him?
No? Then don't state conjecture as facts.
Havlat is known to be injury prone, this is the first time in his career that he's played a full season actually, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was done for the remainder of the playoffs. (Not saying he will be, just saying I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case).

I realize there's nothing that can be done about it, and the best revenge the Wings can get now is to win this game.
But I can't NOT complain about bad officiating when I see it. I always want to see a cleanly called game, and that goes for both teams. I may be rooting for the Wings, but I'd be just as irritated if a Hawks player got kicked out for making a legal hit. Enforce the rules, make the right calls, and other than that, let the guys play the game.

Havlat was originally shaken up..no doubt...knocked out most likely....but he is playing it up to be much worse than it is. The Hawks have the refs on their side and they are using every tool in the toolbox to get an unfair advantage.
I want that referee removed from calling anymore NHL games. He awarded Kronwall a game misconduct before it was even reviewed. That should tell you how corrupt that officiating is tonight.

So you're ok with bad reffing in the playoffs? Not me. There was no interference in the kronwall call, as a matter of fact there was no call until way after the event. Same crap in the ducks series, though. i guess when when you're the best you just overcome these little foibles.

Not to mention that Chicago could only score once while on the power play for half the game.
