Why do Christians (Catholics and Protestants alike) who have just left a Mass or a Sunday service acting?

as if they wanted to kill each other in the parking lot? I have never seen so many accidents waiting to happen as when people are leaving churches.

It is a generalization of course, based on personal observation.

Update:

@ Chio

They do have a Sunday service, don't they?

    They don't.

<<I have never seen so many accidents waiting to happen as when people are leaving churches.>>

And why aren't you in Church yourself?

<<It is a generalization of course, based on personal observation.>>

If the summation of your observation is a generalization, your observing leaves a lot to be desired.

As a former Evangelical Protestant, and now an Orthodox Christian (we are evangelical, too, yet no longer interior the Protestant way), i chanced directly to my ask your self that quite greater scripture is study in a common Orthodox provider (no remember if vespers, orthros/matins, or the divine liturgy) than in any provider interior the church of my upbringing. case in point, in orthros -- the morning prayer provider of the church -- usually seven finished psalms are study aloud, besides as an prolonged gospel passage. interior the divine liturgy, there are psalm verses explicitly study aloud, plus an prolonged epistle plus a gospel analyzing. The sermons tend to no longer be long, yet they are usually on the subject remember of the gospel or epistle, with little rambling. can no longer relatively study with Roman Catholic centers, for the reason that i've got been to so few (and ordinarily funerals...) Forgive me. /Orthodox

If you mean they want to kill each other for opposing views, that's pretty much the definition of fundamentalism. If you mean they try to kill each other with their cars, that's bad driving.

Sadly, I've seen the same thing. Just try not to get involved.
