GM loses 1.2 Billion dollar loss. They say they are showing progress?

GM is a failure and a joke. They are going to pay back their bailout money with borrowed government funds. Why would the government think it is a good idea to loan money to a failing business? Nice work Obama!

Update:

Bush is not the one that caused GM to fail. And I actually pay taxes, so if there is a rebate of some sort it should come to me, not to a first time home buyer, or a new car buyer. Obama's incentives do not help me a bit.

What a joke. I read the article and this made me laugh.."It could pay off the full amount (of the bailout) by 2010, five years ahead of schedule, but the money will come from funds loaned by the government."

What? You are going to payback a loan from the government by borrowing money from the government?

I already said before ..... "SAME S*&T DIFFERENT PILE". GM will never change because it does not need to. Chrysler is going to be the same. What happened to Daimler will happen to Fiat. Both Chrysler and GM won't change because they took the easy way out. The new GM advertisement are a joke too, try to say they are better than Toyota because they have better fuel consumptions. Stop comparing your cars to other and just make good reliable cars. Leave the judgement to the consumers.

As for Obama administration, they will pander this story to the media to make them look good. Hey, see I made the right decision, GM is paying back the taxpayers early. So SAD. See how long it takes for the UAW to run both "new corporations" to the ground.

Gm should Not have been bailed out- I agree. I think that Obama was not ready with too little leadership experience. But Bush was just a retard who let things go in the wrong direction for way to long. He gave us checks in the mail to keep him in the white house 8 years- but never told us we would pay for those tiny rebate checks tenfold!
