How long should it take to regain my hearing?
About a week ago I was sick with strep throat and a sinus infection, and after being sick for about four days my ear started hurting and I noticed about 50% hearing loss in my left ear. The next day I go into the clinic and they do a throat culture (the only reason I knew I had strep, I had thought it was just the flu or a bad cold) and find out that I had strep and a sinus infection. They reasoned that the
sinus infection was the cause for the ear pain. After 24 hours of being on antibiotics the pain went away completely but my hearing has not come back yet. How long should this normally take?

well I think that it should be coming back very soon but if you your going to want to see a doctor and have a hearing test done. Then if that comes back that you can't hear then they will give you medion and if that douse not work they will put tubes in your ears.
