Will someone please tell me some things Pres. Obama has done to help the Americans out?

Don't listen to these fools Kitty he hasn't done a damn thing but put my grand kids in debt so far it'll take a lifetime for them to dig their way out of it! He's a walking disaster and btw our military commanders are getting fed up with his weak kneed approach to fighting the savages in Afghanistan!

I like how he's overspending and people don't see it. He's run us so deep into debt and STILL people say that he's doing a great job. Obviously it gets worse before it gets better. ANd you do have to spend to get out of it. But this moron is giving bailout after bailout and where is this money coming from? Who is going to be paying for it in the long run. NOT THE GOVERNMENT!!!!!

He has enacted a bill which gives woman equal rights to pay now.He signed a $ 787 Billion American Recovery and Investment Act which has given us all tax cuts who are working and people who are on unemployment by adding $25.00 more a week to their checks...and they are on their 4th unemployment extension . Which is working on slowing the fast job losses though it doesn't seem like it by putting money out there to help create jobs...much of it hasn't been used yet. He is trying hard to pass a health care reform bill which republicans are fighting against as we speak.He is calling for a regulation of banks and businesses all over the world to keep this from happening again and keep an eye on things and also get our countries to have a better relationship together compared to the past.He has helped many homeowners keep their houses who would have or about to lose them in foreclosure though it didn't help all it still helped many by giving them many options they would not be able to have other wise.. He also submitted a budget and tax plan for 2010 while planning on putting together this health care plan and balancing the budget.Also planning on letting Bushs tax cuts expire in 2011 for people who make over $ 250,000 a year and making them permanant for everyone else. He has done more than I have ever seen a president do or need to do in his fist year in office..which much more he is working on. Give him time.

How can you tell someone that has no clue what he's done? Watch them post links to Politifact. When you have to cite another resource because you yourself don't know, that says something. Politifact IS biased. Notice that they have reported over twice as many quotes, problems, etc. from the Republican Party than the Democratic party. They have several 'Fox News' anchors quoted but hardly any (meaning very few) from CNN or MSNBC. Especially big name CNN or MSNBC correspondents. Compare for yourself. Like I said before, those linking to other websites or copying and pasting from other websites, only know what they are told. If you were to confront them face to face they would have very little clue what he has done. And those talking about money they are getting in their paycheck from 'Obama's Tax Cuts' show more proof of how ignorant they are about what he has done. That money was part of the Stimulus early this year, and by early next year their paychecks will go back to normal. Meaning they will start getting less than they do now. It's not a permanent thing and is only effective for 1 year. The govt. decided to give it out as small chunks to people in their checks rather than 1 large check. Don't believe me? Google it.

Kitty, to be quite honest, I too feel that Obama has done nothing for us.

This man has not gone through with his promise of bringing the troops back because just a few months ago we sent more men out there, I do not know where these people get their facts from but they're wrong.

As for the Afghanis being savages.... No, they're not savages, they are people like you and I.

My husband got a $3.00 raise on his SS : now obama has started a divorce court hearing, we are split on how to spend the extra $3.00 a month, he wants to go to Micky D's and I want to go to Wally World.

Well, he goes to China, singapore, Europe, and Japan alot. That ought to help Americans out.

The only people Obama has helped out are his close friends.

A lot of people who won't pay their taxes got hired by him. At least that helps them out.

well he bailed out all those banks, and how cool is it to say we have a whole bunch of billionares bankers in our country?? its totally awesome! and he is going to force everyone to buy health insuranc so that health insurance companies have an ever lasting supply of customers... thats even more rich people we can point to and feel cool! and he is continuing the wars in iraq and afghanistan and expanding it to pakistan too. that means we can say we brought savages democracy! another super cool thing!
