So God's a dictator.....?

We're all dictators. We just don't go far enough to be arrested for it.

God is not a dictator. The Word says that He calls us friends. The Word also says that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. You cannot understand that when we stand before God that He is so awesome and so wonderful that we can't help but glorify His name. Have you ever sat in wonder looking at the stars or watching a fantastic fire works display? Don't tell me you've never experienced something in your life that was so great and so beautiful that you couldn't help but stand in awe and gasp at it's beauty? If you have never experienced this then you've lived a sheltered life. God is much more than a fireworks display or even a clear night and having that feeling that you can touch the Milky Way because it seemed so close. He didn't create us to worship Him, silly. He created us to share in His love and His fellowship.

I don't understand why an omnipotent, perfect being requires additional beings to proclaim how awesome he is. One would think things like that stand as a testament to themselves.

I believe the bible was written to help humans co-exist....a list of rules to live by so we could get along when we were all still basically barbarians.

Well, what SHOULD he have created us to worship? What is better than God?

God created us to worship Him because that was the best thing for US, and Him.

What you center your life around is what you worship. What is your summum bonum, your greatest good, your life's purpose?
