CONCAFers: Were you rooting for Uruguay or Costa Rica?

I was rooting for Costa Rica to make a comeback but knew that Uruguay was gonna move on. El Tri is the most disliked if you ask me because of the way they are. Their fans don't help them out either. Not only do the Mexicanos play dirty but they love to take stupid dives because they have no ability to outrun someone. Like Vidal said, their fans are also garbage. That has got to be the most disrespectful thing you can possibly do in a sport like that. I honestly hate Mexico just because of the way they are and hope that 2010 goes as well as 2006 for them did..... early plane home.

Yea, when you played El Salvador I heard the radio... full of nothing but trash talk about El Salvador the people instead of El Salvador the football team. That's why I can't stand Mexicans like that. I know not all of them are like that because my best friends are Mexican.... but some of them just need to show other countries some ******' respect!

Costa Rica !!! Pura vida. According to Larissa. Costa Rica does not have a chance in the World cup. I guess Uruguay has opportunity of becoming champion again :-( NOT!!!. The world cup will be decided bet ( Brasil, Argentina, France, Spain, ITALY, and Germany). All other countries are going to show up and die trying.

Costa Rica off course. Our fellow Ticos were supposed to join us to the world cup. I have much respect for Costa Rica seeing how they are the only team after Mexico in the CONCACAF that play beautiful football and dont play like pus$ys like the USA and Honduras.

I would've wanted Costa Rica to win. I'm Mexican and feel closer to Costa Rica than Uruguay; and most important, if Costa Rica had qualified, we would have been placed in better seed (is that how you call it?) and we could've gotten an easier group for the first round.

I was rooting for Costa Rica, and I have no clue where you got the idea that their players or fans are disliked. On the other hand, nothing can dwarf the arrogance of a South American team and its fans.

Central America hates Mexico, ask them why. Envy is a contagious disease, apparently it has caught up to Central America for decades now. Central America XI won't beat Mexico's B team Xi or USA's...

I was rooting for Costa Rica to win, Central American and CONCACAF futbol needs to grow and be taken more seriously.

Costa Rica had a chance to qualify, they were leading the group for a period of time but they CHOKED.

Uruguay because the were the one that did the first WC and its good to have them back in the newest edition and the very first one being held in Africa

uruguay b/c they almost knocked argentina so they deserve it more than costa rica who flopped from 1st in concacaf to 4th and the playoff spot

costa rica, they were heading to the world cup when they were playing USA but of course the Americans have to tie a meaningless game for them, and strip away Costa rica from the world cup spot

Costa Rica. Im wuz born here in the U.S., but im half mexican and have costa rican so i have 3 teams lol but i also go for Brazil Cuz Robinio and Ronaldo r my favorite all time players

Tell u the truth i dont like Mexico cuz i dont like dem wen dey play dirty. Dey never fair and dey think dey da best which dey aint and for a fact i know dey aint goin to win the world cup. I wish dey didnt qualify. Especialy da fans i really dislike dem. especialy wut dey did in the gold cup throwin things at the players dey were facing.
