HELP! how do i reset my gateway laptop?
I have a gateway, window vista laptop and it's driving me crazy. First, I can't use my headphones anymore now I can't connect to my network. I'm so mad, I'm trying to start fresh but I can't even figure that out. Please help, I don't mind if saved files are deleted I just want my laptop to work properly.

Zoe, just put your restore disk in the DVD drive and when prompted hit any key to boot from the DVD. Then just follow the prompts.
At some point in the restore it may offer a repair option so if you want a fresh install then skip that prompt.
Your computer will be the same as the day you first used it.
