Firefighter/medic question?

What is the difference between all of these and descriptions of duties for these rigs?

Battalion

Ladder

Squad

Truck

Engine

Rescue

Safety Battalion

Unit

    Battalion - A Chief over a group of fire stations.

    Ladder or Truck - A group of FFs who perform ventilation, search & rescue in a building, salvage & overhaul in a building, forcible entry, and sometimes extrication. They use a truck with a 75' or longer ladder mounted on the truck.

    Squad or Rescue - delivers technical rescue equipment for trench, high angle, collapse, cave-ins, and extrication. May also provide BLS or ALS care and transport.

    Engine - provides hoses to supply water and for extinguishment.

    Safety Battalion - Chief in charge of safety over a group of stations or on an emergency scene.

    Unit - used to describe any other apparatus such as medic, haz-mat, pipe, service, air, etc.

    I feel that each Firefighters and Police Officers are very gorgeous of their uniforms; nevertheless, I feel that maybe Firefighters are just a bit extra horny, a minimum of their body might shows so. =P
