Is it possible to uninstall and reinstall Sims 3 without losing my stuff?
I purchased Sims 3 when it first came out and played for a while then stopped. I went to play the other day and now i get an error that says the game won't start and refers to an initialization failure or something. I have the disk, I have my serial code and I'm not sure how to fix this so it works. I've looked through the folders for some kind of file that might contain my saved game info so I could maybe move that to uninstall and try reinstalling the game but I really just don't know what I'm doing. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes that is correct locate your sims save file i dont remember what its called (sorry) and drag it too desktop,reinstall,then drag the save file were u found it :)
