Does your sickness come with a caveat?

"Guttural"

Milk thick

like paste, like shortening, like melted cheddar, like mud from a pond

but I have to

because they say it will up-heave the poison.

do you know them?

They have

plump lips

like swollen frogs, like footballs!, like two dead leeches

in a bait bucket.

Gagging, my tongue white

they nod their heads

like people do when they are right, when they are sanctimonious, when they are deep in prayer.

Update:

So Iano, when you vomit, and after you've eaten the fresh pile of puke like a dog that has no sense, do you vomit again, or does that require that you stare into a mirror?

"you will know them, by the way they walk"

that's why it's good to kick them in the shins now and then

I told you on Skype my initial reaction to this write.

    The descriptive phrases are perfect.

But because I still have not been able to piece together the significance of their lips....

I know I am missing the depth to be found in this

and I know it is there. The last three lines tell me so.

This reminded me of that crap they make you drink the day before you have a colonoscopy. Makes ya gag. And you're supposed to drink a quart of the junk. Yuk!

Sounds like you had to drink that icky stuff to make you vomit. Made me want to vomit reading this.

Mostly it's a surprise but I spew for both accuracy and distance.

    Interesting write, Buk.

*Bows his head in gratitude, or is it looking for a bucket?*

    You decide.

    Thanks.

[Due to my self-absorption I cannot tell if this is really a criticism of me or if it just feels like it because "it's" all about me. I'll assume the latter. Still, it is well chewed. I have the same reaction to beluga caveat.]

Awwwww poor Buk, is this what happened when you heard about Oprah?

I have to agree with Ma, I think there is far more in this, much deeper than I can interpret

Made me want to vomit reading this as well - different reason 'though.

No, Buk - it requires that I look at your image on YouTube or read another of your 'poems'. Now write me a Sonnet, monkey-boy.
