i have ordered a dsi and ive got a multi r4 card which works on a ds lite will it work on my dsi?

That's the mistake I made when buying my dsi.

You need an r4i card and also make sure your dsi is updated to 1.3 as 1.4's have been made to block the cards.

They've developed workarounds for the 1.4 version on the DSi cards except for the R4i Gold. So you shouldn't have to worry about that. The old R4 DS Lite cards won't work though.

If you need to upgrade to a DSi compatible card you can get a genuine cards here http://www.dscardworld.com./ All their DSI compatible cards are clearly labeled. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it.
