Many cacti look similar to this, it could be san pedro cactus, don't know the botanical name. If it is it tolerates moisture better than most. The main thing is not to overwater, if you do it will rot. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings, this can take weeks. Why don't you google san pedro cactus and see what you get?
