Can a Medical Doctor legally force someone to stay in a hospital if they feel that they are sick medicaly?

Cna doctors do that? I know they can do it if your mentally unstable but what if you are in a medical crsis like a heart attack or enuresym and u refuse treatment. Legally can they force you to stay?

    You have the right to refuse any treatment. They have what's called an AMA form (against medical advice). But, if you are passed out or are in no condition to say, you would need an advance medical directives form before something like that happens. Otherwise, the medical staff has no choice but to intervene.
