How does Black Friday work?
I need a new TV, but don't want to stand outside all night. Will I still be able to get a good deal at Best Buy/Target/Walmart at 8/9 am?

Probably not, no.
People stand in line since there's usually, say, 5-10 of the incredible deals that everyone wants. These are loss leader items, a few things sold at a loss to get you in the door instead of going to another store; the company hopes that you'll buy something more that isn't a loss while you're there. There's not many of these specials since they usually do actually lose money on each sale.
Now, do the math: if 300 people want something there's only 10 of, then most are going to miss out. So, the really dedicated line up early to get the best shot at beating out the rest. You can try anyway, but don't bet on the "doorbuster/earlybird" specials being there if you go only when they open.
Now, if you have your eye on a regular special, yes, there's a decent chance you'll still be able to get one. It's the really good deals that go fast and get fought over.

Probably not, if its a big item like a t.v. On Black Friday if you dont wait in line all night, you wont get it. People up there go crazy, last year they even trampled a Walmart employee to death. If you really want the t.v., I recomend just waiting outside all night anyway.

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving while there are a number of revenues and everybody is doing countless procuring for Christmas. especially situations clientele get in fights with one yet another, etc. I honestly have exceptionally much laways controlled to keep away from Black Friday. it extremely is a gaggle of hype to get you to spend a demanding day spending all your money. Who desires that?
