Which 100cc bike is good in mileage and maintenance?
I had read a lot of review about the bike, even the brand new seems to be a lots of problem. If so than is it better to buy a used bike if one has to spend money even in a brand new bike?
Another concern is i need a small bike that will take me to the destination safely at low cost. I usually drive at around 50-60km/hr in city. 95% I will use in city. Which bike will you suggest.
Thanks in advance for the sincere advice with your experience.

hero honda bikes are best for 100cc.they give decent mileage and are low on maintenance
like splendour , passion, depending on how much u can afford and what featuires do u want in them like disc brakes etc.
bajaj bikes though give better mileage but u will have frequent workshop visits. It is difficult to maintain any bajaj bike brand new as poor quality materials are used in bajaj.people buy bajaj bikes only because thy are cheaper than other bieks

I always found Honda's to be bullet proof. I had a couple - from a C90 to CG100 and CB125 - I could run them red hot with virtually no oil in them - long distance with the throttle wide open, revving away for hours trying to keep the speed over 60mph (the C90 would only really get to 55 until it got really hot, then it would hold 60mph = 100km/h)
Nowadays I see bike taxis - they use lots of Honda's, Yamaha's and Suzuki's. I think nearly all of the 4-strokes at this capacity are reliable, but I'd use Honda because that's what I'm used to.
Some things I remember made a HUGE difference...
First, if your chain is enclosed (you can't see the chain) then it will probably last a lot longer than an exposed chain.
Second, if the forks are covered then the fork seals might just last you the lifetime of the bike.

By common consensus, Honda make the best engines and also the best bikes in the world. Over 70% of the bikes they sell consist of the economy segment, namely : 100cc
So it would be prudent if you considered the Splendor NXG or the Passion Pro as your next vehicle.
They have a very wide service network and the bikes are lively, fun to drive and the quality is something that you can rely upon. In short, they are made to last. Isn't that what you are looking for ?

In normal cases, 100cc bikes give more mileage. but if you are a kind of person, who is interested in power at a low price, then go for 125cc bike
