So sorry to hear about his parents!
Holes in the Floor of Heaven by Steve Wariner is a beautiful song. Maybe not one that applies to both parents being gone, but it's a very powerful song.

A wedding is a positive and the mention of deceased relative is a negative so when you bring a song or a reading or something obvious into your wedding day about these departed people you are bringing down your guests and yourselves. If you wish to honor these deceased people respectfully, then do it in a subtle way.
Here's a great way to honor those people without upsetting yourselves or your guests . .
The Bride had a butterfly in her bouquet. The Groom wore a cluster of violets as his boutonniere. This was put in the Ceremony Program . . "The butterfly in Jane's bouquet is in memory of her Grandmother, Mary Smith and the violet boutonniere that Jerry is wearing is in memory of his recently departed Grandmother, Sara White, who loved purple violets."
