1. High - it doesn't pay especially well, and there isn't enough money involved for the back-room shenanigans. Real direct democracy. Tends to be passionate
townspeople.
2. Average - I don't have strong opinions here. Most state level reps are very accessible and whatnot, but large states do have large enough pocketbooks that it can attract the sharks.
3. Low - With absolute power...
4. Average-High - The way judges are tenured, I don't see the same level (or even motivation) of corruption.
5. Very Low. - They're under-educated, under-paid, and over-stressed. It turns them into pricks on power trips. It's possible my perception is slightly warped - I've mostly lived in Boston and Southern California, where the cops are notoriously racist and have very little to do in the yuppie areas. They tend to protect their own and not reject the bad apples.
