Unfortunately I am constrained by time but those who answered because of love is true. A few years back when debating a sarcastic and very intelligent atheist he asked the question "Why did God create the universe?" Not expecting anyone to have an answer. And expecting from me a usual response. But God allowed me to respond to him just as those here have said. I responded this way.

You cannot answer this question without knowing who God is. God is love. Love is the most creative force in the entire universe as well as the spiritual world. The reason for us humans being here is to learn God's love as evidenced by the faith many people have in him down through the centuries of time of man's experience here on earth. All creation and all activity center around his plan on how to demonstrate the full power and majesty and truth about love. For the greatest love one can show to his friend is to lay his down his life for his friend. Such is what he did when he died upon the cross for our sins to reconcile man unto himself because of love.

Love plans ahead. Just ask any newly wed couple about their plans. God is beyond that and had his plan of salvation set before he even created the universe. This is why so many themes around the world center on the mystery of love as well. To try to understand it. I believe this is one reason why.

John 3:16-17 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

A person who lives God's love is found in 1 Corinthians 13

    http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Co...

1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

    8Love never fails.

Think of all of human activity and the work toward giving new life and preserving it and the rituals for birth and marriage and commitment and trust and honesty and faith and hope center on love. Even those who work with old cars or houses and pursue their dreams is because of their love for them.

All the interworkings of the universe with living and nonliving things and the details and care about their existence can best be explained by love. Love makes sure all is good and perfect. Love has standards that make for all things to work at their best and for the benefit of all.

Indeed it is part of the greatest commandment that Jesus said. To love God and then to love others one would love oneself.

This is not the exact answer for this is another forum. And this is my opinion. One that needs to be explored more and even taught more. I hope this helps you.

But if it sounds foolishness then so be that also.

Take care and have great thoughts as well.

It's effortless to simply suppose in Physical World phrases, got here from, made, and so on. Gods, Supreme Beings, Spiritual Beings, are Non-Physical, Immortal, and Not Located in Space or in Time and Do Not comply with Physical Laws. Gods are Cause and the whole thing else, the Physical World is Effect. Gods are the Creators, however have been Not created. So, you can not describe Gods in Physical World phrases, considering that it with ease does no longer paintings...

Your question cannot truthfully be answered. The existence of God can neither be proved nor disproved, much less his/her/its reasons for acting if existence could be proved. If we turn to religion, the answer depends upon who's God and who's scripture you are referencing. Not very satisfying.

The Universe is vast beyond our ability to even imagine---billions of galaxies each filled with an average of a billion stars. Well, the likelihood of other habitable planets with sentient inhabitants is pretty high. And if all that was created by a Supreme Being, that God is so beyond our comprehension as to make our stories laughable.

I'm not saying that I don't believe in God. I just think the very word "God" has been so misused that it doesn't even mean the same thing to everyone---and it really never did. For whatever reason, we are here. We've been given the experience of being alive and aware for whatever period of time we have. In living compassionately and generously with ourselves and all beings, animal and human, we can know joy, love and perhaps glimpse a bit of the unknowable along the way.

A student from class I understands the mathematics how it is : 1+1 = 2.

But s/he would be surprised to know that at times when we can say that 1+1 = 3! A student from management can easily understand why we say 1+1 = 3 when we are talking about synergetic effects. This is to make people understand the power of "team work"!

But the mentioned younger person finds it impossible to believe with her/his limited knowledge!

So we should not think about why Allah created all things cause we will feel like that student from class I if we start thinking about it!! And God himself has said us not to think about this question as it is beyond our understanding ability!

    Boredom

  • GOD is difficult to answer, coz I can't definitely say it was God or something else

But everything came into existence to perish, this is I'm for sure.
