Do I have the right to be mad about this?

My girlfriend and I have been dating for six years now. Lately are relationship has kind of been on the rocks. Yesterday I was looking through her friends list on facebook and she added her ex boyfriend who she knows I cant stand. I got really mad and kind of told her off and then she called insecure and stuff. She also said that she hasnt talked to him so does that justify it. Am I right or wrong for getting mad?

well if she doesn't talk to him, why would she add him? the only other reason would be if she is curious about his life and wants to snoop on his page. And that's not good since she's currently dating you.  
I think you do have a right to be mad, but if you have a history of dictating to her what she may do and who she is allowed to talk to, i am not surprised she added him on facebook behind your back. If however she promised you she'd never talk to him again because he has been a menace or disrupted your relationship then you are right to be upset with her.

I can understand why you are mad.. but at the same time.. this might be nothing. I would say just be watchful, and see if her attitude changes or she starts to get weird. If it REALLY upsets you so much.. I don't think she should do it.. but at the same time, she might still consider him a friend?

Honestly if she hasn't given a reason not to trust you shouldn't worry. It''s facebook a lot times people don't even talk to their friends on there.

You're right. I don't want my girlfriends ex to have anything to do with us, least of all knowing they're a friend on facebook.
