Meiosis vs. Mitosis: Allele Transmission?

how are they transmitted differently?

    as you can see in mitosis all doublicated chromosomes arrange in a form of line, whereas in meiosis I, they go in pairs with their alleles. Meiosis II though, is like mitosis, and i say 'like' because in meiosis I have been extented cross over.
