I have lost faith in my health care provider. How can I explain this to the next doctor?
I thought I could just tell the next doctor that it is a matter of lack of trust. My present health care provider over medicates, he even prescribed anti-cancer medication (methotrexate) against mild arthritis. I ended in hospital for a week. He still wants me to take that medecine which nearly did me in.
He gets very annoyed when I mention side effects, and brushes if off. Frankly he scares me but can I say this to the next doctor?

The reason being is that your Doctor is trained to prescribe medicine and do surgery. Not to take care of you. but to take care of the pharmacuetical companies out there. They are the highest stocks and pay a lot of money out. They want you hooked on drugs, and then you get more symptoms because of the drug they gave you, so they prescribe another drug and then it has its side affects and then they will treat you for that one and so on and so forth. Your health isn't the issue here, it is all about the money they make. the next doc will be the same way more then likely.

doctors are trained to be impartial. they are told not to listen to a self diagnosis in case of hypochondriacs, that is why he might have dismissed you, but if he is making you take medicine that is clearly not intended for someone in your position. don't hesitate to get a second opinion. go ask your pharmacist or another GP, this is your health were talking about.
