What to get my fiancee?
I have been engaged for about 2 months now and I have no idea what to get him for Christmas. He always gets me such nice gift, but with being laid off recently I don't have a lot of cash. I am willing to pay up to $50 max on him, I just want to get him something really special to show him how much I love him. Thanks so much for all your help! Happy Holidays!

I agree with the homemade route! I've spent a good amount of cash on gifts for my fiance and I've also made gifts. Either way, I've always made it special between the two of us.
If you have to put a price limit on it, it's best to go with homemade so you aren't looking for 'the perfect gift... BUT it has to be under X amount!' You know?
Some ideas:
Collages (I made my fiance a mosaic of small pictures shaped into I <3 U and framed it for Valentine's Day. He loves it!)
Stitching his name or a personal message on to a pair of PJs
Homemade card w/ a love letter tucked inside
An etching. Etch a picture, quote or message into glass or wood. My fiance etched wooden hearts for our anniversary. One of the nicest gifts I've ever gotten!
Just make it personal between the two of you. If you give yourself time to brain storm and think, you'll find something that is perfect!
If you want to go store bought, just make sure it's personal and comes from the heart! An inside joke is a great basis to go off of! It's not the money that goes into it that makes a gift special, it's the thought! Good luck! We also got engaged about 2 months ago! September 23rd!

You could always make him a homemade gift. Just google "homemade gifts for fiance" or something along those lines. Making a homemade gift is cheap and he'll appreciate the effort you put into making him something.

You could go out and have something small engraved for him. One year for my fiance I went out and bought a gunmetal frame and had it engraved with a personal note that means a lot to both of us and the date we started seeing each other...all for about $50. "Things Remembered" was the store I went to.
