3. It varies by person and location. I got one tattoo and sometimes it just tickled. Other times, I was about scream in pain. It all depends on the exact location (as in to the millimeter) and your pain tolerance.

I will give you some advice i woudl give anyone considering a tattoo, regardless of age. Think about what you want. Consider drawing it with colored permanent markers, touching up every week or so and keeping it for about 3 months. Make sure it is something you can live with forever. Make sure it's sentimental, or it's appeal will fade. I contemplated my tattoo for 2 years, making sure it was really what I wanted.

I know at the age of 13, 2 years seems like a long time- but if you get something you aren't thrilled about- you are stuck with it for the rest of your life! Your body will change as you grow, stretching the tattoo. Keep that in mind!

That is just stupid for a 13 year old to get a tattoo. You are going to regret it for the rest of your life kid. The monster logo would be a good idea but you are 13...which is a very bad idea. Tattoos do not hurt it is about a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10, but believe me if you get it now you will regret it for the rest of your life.

Of course it hurts, they punch a piece of metal through your ear. It doesn't hurt the same way as braces or shots either. It feels like a pinch then it feels very hot. It gets a little swollen and the pain is pretty much over in about 20min if you don't bump it. Keep it very clean and try not to sleep on the side of your head for a few nights.

I'm 16 and I just got one. people told me I was too young. I think that if I am too young, then you definitely are. I don't see why monster energy drinks have some special meaning to you but...ok.

Yes, if you have a guardian take you. It's your tattoo, make it what YOU want. A tattoo hurts more on some areas than others, so if you get it on your back, you should be just fine. It just feels like a pinch a few times. :)
