Hamilton Beach Water Cooler - Model Number # 87330?
Hi, I need help trying to figure out why the Hot water doesn't work and why the Cold water has a funky taste. Kinda Metallicky/Mildew-ish taste. How can I get the Hot water to work and the Cold water to not taste nasty. I would ask this question on FixYa.com but they charge to ask a question so I thought I'd see if anyone on here might be able to help out. Any solution to fixing my problem will be appreciated.

It sounds like the heater element may be burned out and the machine is full of either lime or slime. You could try running some CLR or vinegar thru the machine and it may clear up the gunk and get it working again. Water coolers are really not worth repairing as the labour to have someone come out and do it would probably exceed what a new one would cost. Good Luck

There is a drain port on the back for both the hot and cold water tanks. Use it to drain out the chemicals thoroughly.
