I have a question. Is it wrong/against the law that a landlord did not notify the tenant of any repairs being done to the house ? I was woken up this morning at 7am by roofers stomping and hammering on my roof. The landlord did not notify me that there will be roofers. Also the driveway has been blocked by the roofers personal vehicle. As I sit here I am being sprinkled on by the ceiling stucco which I am hoping does not contain Asbestos. I just wanna know if my Landlord having roof work done without notifying me is legal.

My Cell Phone provider is SPRINT and in November my contract is up so I can upgrade my phone. I was aiming towards the HTC EVO but then I saw this HTC PRO 2 with a slide-out Qwerty keyboard. I currently own a LG RUMOR phone and like having a slide-out Qwerty keyboard so now I'm leaning towards the HTC PRO 2 but my question is comparing the two what's the PROs and CONs or which is better to buy ?? I've googled searched but found very little information.

My boyfriend every season has this problem with his fingers mainly around the tips where they severely crack open and peel almost down to the last layer of skin. It happens around Winter/Spring season. It's not just a minor dermatitis or chapped dry skin he's got deep wounds on his finger tips where you an clearly see down to the bottom layers of his skin. Sometimes it's so bad they bleed and dermatologists we've been to just give us stuff that doesn't work and I feel so bad for him to have bandages wrapped around every finger. Has any dermatologist heard of this kinda skin disorder or know what steps he can take to prevent, stop, or treat this problem ??

When someone replies to you that they're currently living in Africa and that if you send payment now they'll ship your product out is that a scam ?? I'm currently looking for a place to rent and I responded to an ad for a house for rent. I got a reply telling me that they live in Africa and that the house keys are with them in Africa. I can look at the outside of the house but inside I can't view cuz they are in Africa with the house keys. The said once I send out 1st months rent they'll send the keys + any documents. Im kinda skeptical. Another house ad that I responded to replied back with a similar answer that they were transferred to Africa to work in a Hospital with their church crusade and that they have the house keys with them in Africa. With many TV ads about Africa being in poverity I wouldn't think so many people would flock to Africa for employment. Are these types of replies signs of an Online scam or could they be actually Legit ??

My Boyfriend and I have been living together for about 9 yrs. and he started attending college in the Fall and applied for Financial Aid. He was approved and said they'll send him his first check soon. Before they do they needed him to fill out one more paperwork. It was regarding any dependents or adults living in the same household. I live with him so he wrote down the information that I live with him and under relationship to student he wrote Domestic Partner. Now they put his Financial Aid payment on hold until he provides them a proof of Partnership. We're not married just living together. He told them it's a Common-Law marriage but they want Proof. How can you get proof for Domestic Partnership or Common-Law marriage ? According to California Law ... Common-Law marriages are not recognized. How can we clear this up ? Anyone been in this situation before with Financial Aid and how did you clear it up ??

Hi, I need help trying to figure out why the Hot water doesn't work and why the Cold water has a funky taste. Kinda Metallicky/Mildew-ish taste. How can I get the Hot water to work and the Cold water to not taste nasty. I would ask this question on FixYa.com but they charge to ask a question so I thought I'd see if anyone on here might be able to help out. Any solution to fixing my problem will be appreciated.

I know whenever you blend anything hot in the blender you have to remove the feeder cap from the blender lid cuz the pressure can blow the hot liquids but what about when you're gonna use a Food processor to chop up a hot food item do you have to remove the feeder cap too or no ?

My hair is pretty long about lower back length and I was wondering how much would it cost to get my hair highlighted at a Salon ?? I know some places charge extra if you have long hair or charge you more. Last time I got my hair highlighted my hair was about middle of my back length and it cost me $90. Now that my hair is Lower back length is it gonna cost me like $200 just to get my hair highlighted. Anyone know a general price range for getting long hair highlighted ??

I was feeling snacky at my Mom's early so I grabbed this bag of Chocolate covered almonds and didn't think anything of it. I ate one but as I went to unwrap the 2nd piece I found there were white worms inside it. It wasn't a maggot cuz I know those are fat white worms. This worm was small thin white worm with a brown tip about the size of a long-grain rice. I'm hoping the piece I ate didn't have worms in it but now I'm starting to feel sick to my stomach. Are Fruit Fly larva which is what I believe those worms were harmful if eaten ??

I'm making a Crochet beanie for my nephew's wife who's gonna have a baby in August but I don't know how big I should make it. What's the average head size of a Newborn ? How can I figure out how big I would need to make the Beanie ? I was using a large Grapefruit as size guide. Is a Newborn's head bigger than that ? Like a small melon ?

When we got the Lab Coat back the sleeves were WAY too short and the lady who works at the Alteration refuses to fix it. I just got over the Stomach Flu and after a day of vomiting my teeth feel sticky, gritty, and icky. How do I make this feeling go away ? A friend told me not to brush with Toothpaste cuz that can waste the tooth enamel away even more. So how do I make this gritty-ness off my teeth ??

I bought a box of these cookies from my local Grocery store and I L0VE them !! I've eaten these before from a buffet dessert section. But never knew the name of these cookies. Its very light, flaky, and just a good enough hint of sugar. It seems like it's made outta filo dough or puff pastry sheets. While playing a Online Game in mid-game it would crash. The sound loops, screen freezes, and I'm still able to move my mouse but the game screen froze. I press ALT+F4 to close the game and I get the error Instruction at 0x03423460 referenced memory at 0x03423460. The Memory could not be read. Click OK to Terminate program. What does that mean, how can it be fix and prevent from my game crashing again ? Your replies will be appreciated.

Ok, about a week ago ... I went to the Emergency room cuz my knee was swollen, painful, and had a high fever just in the knee area. The doctor of the Emergency room diagnosed it as Cellulitis. The swelling has gone down. I suspected that a fall a couple days prior caused it to swell. Well, my knee is still abnormal looking. I figured it's not Cellulitis but Bursitis. Just for your information ... I'm disabled *Not paralyzed* but the muscles and tendons from my knee down I guess didn't develop properly growing up. Bcuz of this I walk around my house on my knees bcuz it's difficult for me to walk. My reason I am here is bcuz lately I've been falling down alot. It's not cuz I trip on things ... my legs just give out and I fall. I could figure it could be cuz I'm a little obese that my legs just cant handle the weight and collapse. But could be anything else like Osteoporosis or weakening of the muscles and tendons ? It's abnormal to fall often like this. I'm worried. Any answers will help
