Did you ever suspect Meridith Baxter to be a lesbian?

I never thought about it, so I guess I never suspected!

But when I saw your question I googled it and I read that Perez Hilton posted a picture of her and her girlfriend before their relationship was public. The article spoke about how he always bullies homosexuals to 'come out'. I really wish people would stop giving Perez attention. He's really, really low.

Never really thought about it. Ms. Baxter said she has only come to terms with her true sexuality fairly recently, so with 3 marriages and 5 children, she probably didn't give it much thought either. But good for her, for living her life the way she wants to. I hope she is happy. It won't affect my life nor will it affect my opinion of her as an actor.

A good performer is a good performer, regardless of sexual orientation. What business of ours is her private life? And what right do we even have to bandy these kind of questions about? Performers provide a service, they do a job--to entertain us. We have no more right to scrutinize their private lives for our own amusement that we do the mailman or the grocer. I know I wouldn't like people who've never even met me, much less know me, debating my private life as if it's somehow their business.

Didn't think about it one way or the other, doesn't affect my life in the least.
