BABY ON BOARD.....WHICH NAME DO YOU LIKE BEST?

Ok, so I am overly excited that I am becoming an aunty!!! My little brother and his fiance' are having a baby and she's due March 1, 2010.

My brother's fiance' likes Imani Lael...which I personally don't care too much for Imani but Lael is ok. But I suggested something more classic because she asked me for a suggestion. I like Cassidy Savannah and so does the family.

What do you think is a better name? Imani Lael or Cassidy Savannah?

First of all Samantha C....Didn't I say the ONLY reason I suggested a name is because his fiance' asked! I'm not trying to decide for them but they asked me and all I did was give a name that I liked. I'm not deciding anything for her. Whatever she chooses, it wont matter because I'll love my niecy pooh regardless of her name. But she needed opinions and I figured the best way to get her lots of opinions were to come on Y/A and have people that don't know her personally and wont give opinions from a personal stand point....That's why I put in both names!!!!!! Oh yeah.....congrats on your new baby!

    I think your brothers fiance should have the right here and that she should find this question offensive. The name they should choose is the name your brother and his fiance should choose together...it is their child not yours.

    Having said that I really like the name Imani Lael very modern; unique; and gorgeous

    Cassidy Savannah does not flow properly

    Congratulaitons on becoming an aunt but remember they are becoming the parents and please dont overstep your bounds.

    Cassidy Savannah. Cassie is a cute nickname. But I guess it's ultimately up to the mother... though Imani Lael just doesn't flow as nicely as Cassidy Savannah.

    Imani- sounds a bit Indian or Iraqi :s

    But, I love Lael and Cassidy. Cassidy Savannah is a bit to ott.

    Cassidy Savannah is better than Imani Lael (which I can't pronounce) but neither is great.

    Although I like Cassidy Savannah its really not your decision. You don't have to call that baby by its name every moment of every day, they do. Its their child, she's carrying it for nine months, and they have to raise it and pay for everything for it. Its their choice. The family should stay out of it because its not up to them.

    I think whatever the parents decide for the name is the best name...I like Imani :)
