Do you think Houston will ever get another theme park?
I really miss Astroworld. It was a cool place to hang out, during the Spring and Summer. It's just weird for a huge place like Houston, to not have an amusement park.

We're the 4th largest city in te U.S. with no theme park??? whats that about

Astroworld was a cool place to hang out... in the 70s and 80s. It went majorly ghetto when they introduced the summer pass and the gangbangers started spending their days there. My wife and I went the last day they were open in 2005.
Astroworld was also located in what turned into a bad neighborhood, where few wanted to stay after dark.
If they do build another amusement venue of any size it'll probably be out in the Katy (I-10 West or 290 West) area.
