What was the relationship between the British government and British businesses during the Industrial Revolution?

Are all Android phones getting flash and the 2.1 update? I'm only hearing about the Droid and Eris getting the update. And I keep hearing about the N1, Eris, and Droid getting flash. Are other devices getting flash and 2.1 too?

If you go to a Verizon or AT&T store, and they tell you what deposit you have to pay, and you go back to the store a few weeks later, will the deposit still be the same? For example, if you went to an AT&T store today and they told you that your deposit would be 400.00....then you wait and go back about 2wks later, will the deposit still be the same? Also, with the deposits...are you paying for the phone? Or are you paying for the service? I had somebody tell me that the 400.00 is not for the iphone....the 400.00 deposit would still be the same if a regular old flip phone was purchased. Is that true?

Ok, so I'm debating on which provider to sign with. Right now, I have a prepaid account with AT&T. Been with them for 4 yrs. In those 4yrs I've only had payment issues twice. But right now, I simply don't care for prepaid anymore. I can get a contract plan with AT&T or Verizon, with a smartphone unlimited data, that'll actually be somewhat cheaper than my prepaid plan. And the prepaid plans are so limited. But getting back to my original thoughts, I went to Verizon last week. I told them that I didn't have any credit history. So, they checked out my past history with my cell phone bills. They then told me that my deposit would be about 130.00, plus the contract smartphone price. (which was a Droid) I think the Droid was about 200.00+ Now, I haven't checked out AT&T's deposit. But I just want to know, will it be around the same as the Verizon deposit?

I was trying to post some pictures and videos under the "Fan Art" threads but my pics and videos won't post. What do I have to do? I tried clicked on the link button and I posted the links for my photo. Then I clicked to preview the thread and the picture wasn't shown. Then I decided to post the thread anyway, thinking that the pic would show, but it didn't. Same thing for the videos. What am I dong wrong? lol

Is the mode fun? Do you enjoy it/hate it? And how many matches can you have for each event (RAW, SD, ECW, PPVs) on the 360?

I mean seriously, WTF? Whitney Houston definitely got screwed over this year. Fan or not, the lady got shafted. They give Amy Whinehouse (drugged up and all) a Grammy, but Whitney (clean and all with a pretty awesome comeback album, which was also number 1) doesn't deserve at least a nomination? That's ridiculous. People want to say that Whitney doesn't deserve one b/c she can't sing anymore, as if Taylor Swift has some magical vocal gift. She's only getting recognized now b/c of Kanye. A year ago, nobody gave a crap about the chick. People want to say that Whitney shouldn't win out of charity but people were saying the opposite when Michael Jackson was up for all those AMAs. And Beyonce's "Single Ladies" is up for an award? WTF? A song where she basically says"Single Ladies...put a ring on it" about 200 times. And that warrants a grammy? Whitney got shafted but I'm not surprised. People love to crap on the woman over her past mistakes and continue to kick her, as if she's the first person in the history of the world to do drugs. Whitney is more received outside of this country b/c people out of America aren't as judgmental and hypocritical as people in the States. I know some love to say "well she messed her life up with drugs. nobody made her do it" I'm not saying that anybody did. What I'm saying is that you have a person who messed up in life, but they found their way back and judgmental people will continue to bash her over it. The woman can't even blink without being accused of something or bashed over her past. If she has a performance and misses a note, then the whole performance is crapped on. But if we go through something, we expect the whole damn world to cater to us. But when it's Whitney, let's just bash her, point the finger and point out everything she did wrong in her life. And then there's Adam Lambert. Apparently he's still receiving backlash over his AMA performance. He kissed a dude. Big whoop. Nobody said anything when Madonna and Britney Spears were making out at the VMAs. Where was the uproar over that? I'm not a Lambert fan, but damn come on. No wonder the rest of the world hates the United States of Hypocrisy. It's just sad, borderlining on pathetic, that in America the hypocritical, judgmental, ************ thinking is the norm nowadays. I realize that most will probably come here and do the typical Whitney bashing with the "crackhead" joke or make fun of Lambert's sexuality but whatever.

I really miss Astroworld. It was a cool place to hang out, during the Spring and Summer. It's just weird for a huge place like Houston, to not have an amusement park.

Personally, I think it's pretty badass. And I love how they intergrated the Zune HD with the 360. And last.fm = EPIC WIN lol

Now it seems that Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube are what's popular. Youtube is always mentioned in the media. You have celebs always talking about following them on Twitter or Facebook. But people seem to be talking less and less about Myspace. So is Myspace no longer "in"?

If I downloadd an app or game using the XNA software, is it safe? Will it work? Has anybody done this before? Also, what are some good sites for Zune HD apps and games?

I have limited space on my 360's hard-drive and I just wanted to know if the Netflix movies have to be saved to the 360. Also, how fast do the movies stream? Do you have to wait for it to download or will it automatically start once you choose the movie you want. And can you actually download movies with the free trial? And will I be able to watch HD movies? I use AT&T's U-verse internet.

I'm really thinking about getting one. Is it worth the money? Does the Oled screen live up to the hype? Is the HD radio good? And please don't say something like "get the Ipod Touch". I've had an Ipod before, and wasn't the best experience.

I want to buy the Zune HD but I want to pay for it in installments. I'm trying to build up my credit history. I have no history so I'm trying to build it up.

Can I connect to me school's internet, with the Zune HD? Has anybody done this before? Is it the same as connecting to the password protected internet, in your home?

Tonight, was a prime example. 90% of the match, saw HBK making Legacy look good. Then HHH comes back down, and completely owns them. HBK was made to look weak, while HHH was made to look like the more valiant hero, who saved the day. WTF is up with this? And I noticed, that the same crap happened at Summerslam and Breaking Point. HBK makes Legacy look legit. HHH buries them. WTF? I'm not trying to bash the dude. I'm not trying to disrespect him, or his fans. But seriously, wtf is up with this? Has anybody else noticed this? Summerslam: HBK makes Legacy look good. HHH doesnt. BP: HBK is made to look weak, and he loses the fall to Legacy. HIAC: HBK is made to look weak, and he also makes Legacy look good. HHH gets in, and completely buries the hell out of them. WTF is up with this? I remember a handicapped match where it was HHH vs. Rhodes and Dibiase. And it took Dibiase and Rhodes using their finishers multiple times, to put HHH down. And then after, HHH is shown calling HBK...as if nothing happened. What the hell is up? IMO, DX did NOT put Legacy over. Shawn Michaels, put Legacy over.
