Just pick up a Sunday paper and check out what's on sale this week. Then you can get something locally for $400 to $500 and have it in your hand the same day. :-)

Well, I have an acer. It rocks but no one has anyidea what it is. DONT get a Gateway. Get a Dell, Mac, NOT A HP either. My laptop is $300 so get a good deal
