Sloppy Joes ingredents or something else with hamburger meat?

Alright I'm cooking to night and I've totally went blank with how to cook Sloppy Joes. So can someone please tell me what I need for the recipe or something that is easy to make with hamburger meat besides tacos because we had that a couple of nights again. Thanks!

Buy a can of Manwich and add it to 1 lb of browned hamburger to make sloppy joes.

    BBQ Meatballs

    1 lb hamburger

    1 egg

    1/3 cp bread crumbs

    ¼ cp milk

    1 Tbls Worchestershire

2 cps Famous Daves Rich & Sassy BBQ sauce

    1/3 cp water

In a lrg bowl combine all but the BBQ sauce and water. Form into meatballs about 2” in diameter. Spray a skillet with cooking spray and brown the meatballs.

In a small bowl combine the BBQ sauce and the water. Pour this over the meatballs. Cover and simmer 20-25 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.

Mexican Lasagna – I rarely make casserole type dishes but this one is special. You can make it as spicy or mild as you like.

    1 lb hamburger

    1 sm onion

    ½ tsp garlic powder

    2 cans diced tomatoes

1 can black beans - rinsed and drained

1 can whole kernal corn - drained

1 pkg Taco seasoning (mild, reg or hot)

    1 ½ cp sour cream

    1 ½ cp cottage cheese

4 oz can chopped green chilies (even if you like it mild use at least a few chilies)

    1 bag corn chips

    ½ lb shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 325*. In a lrg skillet brown the hamburger, drain. Stir in the onion and garlic. Let that cook over low heat while you rinse and drain the beans and corn. Add the tomatoes to the skillet. Stir in the taco seasoning till well blended. Add beans and corn.

In a med bowl stir the sour cream, cottage cheese and green chilies together till well blended.

Spray a 13”x9” oven dish with cooking spray. Spread 1/2 of the meat over the bottom of the oven dish. Layer with 1/2 of the sour cream mixture, sprinkle with corn chips and 1/2 of the cheddar cheese. Repeat layers.

Slide the dish into the oven and bake 15 min to blend flavors and melt cheese

    Spaghetti

    1 lb hamburger

    ½ med onion

    1 green pepper, chopped

    1 zucchini, chopped

    2 cp mushrooms, sliced

1 bottle Three Cheese Prego spaghetti sauce

1 pkg spaghetti noodles (I prefer angel hair pasta)

Brown the hamburger in a frying pan, drain off the fat. Add the onion, green pepper and zucchini and cook another 3-5 minutes. Pour in the bottle of Prego and the fresh mushrooms. Cover and cook until the pasta is ready.

Put a pot of water on to boil, cook the spaghetti noodles until done - do not overcook. Drain the water, drizzle a Tble of olive oil over the noodles and toss lightly.

brown up the meat, maybe with some onions and garlic, when cooked add some spaghetti sauce, and serve it with pasta.

Or, here is the Sloppy Joe recipe I grew up with.. not very conventional but good.

    Sloppy Joes

    Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef

    ½ cup diced onion

    ½ cup diced green pepper

    1/2 cup catsup

    1 tablespoon brown sugar

    2 teaspoons vinegar

    1 teaspoon prepared mustard

    1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 can chicken gumbo soup (undiluted)

    Directions

Brown beef, onion and pepper until meat is browned and vegetables are softened.

Drain beef mixture. Add the remaining ingredients. Simmer over medium heat 10-15 minutes to combine flavors.

Spoon meat mixture onto buns and serve.

If your cooking for alot or jut a few my kids loved this: brown hamburger meant and put diced onions and garlic fresh or powder and some onion powder, seasoning salt pepper and then drain excess grease and dice up like 5 potatoes and cover with water until potatoes are done. You can put some tomato sauce in it if yo like and make some cornbread or whatever you like and serve it as a soup or take some out with a spoon that allows draining and make burritos. It's real easy to fix and my kids loved it and would ask me to cook it. You can also change from pot ates and add pasta shells and a can of tomatoes crushed, and some munster cheese cubed, or mozzarella cheese to it. You can also make a meatloaf, put the meat in a bowl add 1-2 eggs, 1 pkg. crackers- crumbled, seasoning salt onion and garlic 1/3 can tomato sauce and 1 tablespoon of flour and mix put into baking pan and cook on 350 degrees for like 30 minutes, spread remaining tomato sauce or put ketchup on top and bake of 15 more minutes and then serve with mashed potatoes and a veggie. Enjoy.

try this!get some bisquick and make a dough, (i add a couple table spoons of sugar) then get some pizza or spag, sauce mix that into your pound of cooked burger, not sloppy though kinda thick, put that on top of dough in a 9 by 13 cake pan, then get 6 slices of american cheese lay them on top, then bake about 20/25 minutes. yum! like open faced sloppy Joe's w/cheese!

Easy? Not with nine hundred ingredients. How about Ketchup, Yellow Mustard and A-1 Sauce?

Brown your hamburger, drain off the grease. Add 2 x ketchup; 2 x mustard; and 1 x A-1. Keep adding in that ratio until it's "soupy" enough to please you. Let it simmer a minute and ready to spread on buns or open face bread.

    Enjoy!
