Yes.
$3500 - the case was thrown out because the woman had the audacity to sue me for damages to her car after she struck me, while I was legally crossing the street, at a monitored intersection.
Did I mention she also left the scene of the accident? The only reason she knew who I was is because I sued her first, as being the pedestrian I was injured and I wanted to recoup my losses.
As for the payment, I will tell you if she ever pays.
The kicker is that she was driving a luxury car and still cannot pay the paltry sum. (I only sued her for one weeks lost wages and the cost of my cast)

The judgment is owed the moment the judge signs the order. It will start accruing interest from that moment on. If not paid immediately the plaintiff will, in most states, be able to file for a garnishment of your wages.

Yes. I was sued for fraud and conspiracy. The claims was $20,000. I did not have to pay anything. I won the case.
