What do you wish your parents told you growing up? How will you tell it?
Do you ever think about certain bits of knowledge and wisdom, and how valuable it would have been to know those things early in life? Do you wonder why your parents never sold you on the value of those things?
If so, what are those things? How will you make sure your own kids know those things, without annoying/alienating them by lecturing at length to them?

Boys don't always mean it when they say "i love you" lol. That would have saved me so much heart ache

i do not blame my parents for the fact that i took so long to get it, but i do wish i had learned earlier that it is not the opinions others have of you that matter, but the honest opinion you have of yourself.
and i am trying to teach that explicitly and by example to my own kids, who will doubtless grow up to have other lessons they look back and wish they learned earlier.

I'll teach my kid, "Be respectful to women, open doors, carry heavies, mind your mouth. Venerate your elders, they've lived through more then you probably will"

I wish my parents had taught me how to protect myself better, both from physical and emotional bullying/abuse. I wish they had not told me to "mind your teacher as though she is mom."
This is why my daugher is working on her black belt in Tae Kwan Do and just completed the Teenpower class with this organization: http://www.kidpower.org/
All the best.
